A brief overview of our studio
East River Studio was created by husband and wife team Gary and Emma Taylor. Combined we have over 25 years of experience in the fields of web development, design and marketing.
After working at many established marketing and digital agencies for over 15 years, Gary felt there must be a better way to how agencies are traditionally run and decided to found East River Studio towards the end of 2019. The goal was and still is offering agency level services at a more affordable and personable level.
Living in East Devon UK, Gary and Emma are passionate about helping businesses succeed in increasingly competitive landscapes. We achieve this by combining our vast experience and applying this valuable knowledge to the projects we undertake to help clients find their identities, build winning websites and develop marketing strategies for growth.
Gary
Founder & Designer
Gary is a vastly experienced Designer with over 20 years of experience behind him in various creative roles. He specialises in Web Design and Wordpress consulting. Whilst most of his focus at East River is online/web based, he’s also a multi-disciplinary Designer with previous experience working on branding, advertising, packaging and print, so he can easily turn his hand to any non digital design requirements clients might need which has proven to be hugely beneficial.
Emma
Content & Account Management
Emma, previously a secondary school teacher, decided she wanted a lifestyle change after having her first son. Cue a huge career shift to help her father set-up a new commercial cleaning business where she overlooked the marketing and new business operations and helped to grow the business subsantially. From this she developed a passion for content creation and now helps clients with any content requirements as well as looking after client relations and general day to day operations in the studio.
